I was in Borders today and I read the part of the introduction to Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison. That interested me. I liked how he described not being seen, and saying that its not necessarily a negative thing (can have its advantages) but its basically draining.

What else? How about Chekhov?

We've had various lists and various books voted on before, but I don't really know who wants to read what and what people want from this group.
If we can get a few suggestions people are excited about, then we can put together a poll and vote. Actually, I think we should try to pick maybe two or three books, so we don't have to keep doing the voting and discussion every month but just move on to the next one.
